ORAAAAAAAAAAA! I LIVE! YOU THOUGHT YOU HAD ME BEATEN, EH, WORK? WELL TOO BAD, I'M UPDATING MY JOURNAL.
W-what? Nobody cares? "We stopped caring about you Jorsh, we didn't even know you were alive." Eeeh? That's not very nice Toshi-kun! I assume your name is Toshi-kun, just like that South American cook at the Japanese Teppanyaki place in Dallas!
A-any way, I have once again obtained a booth to the wonderful AnimeFest in Dallas, TX on Labor Day weekend! *Throws confetti* But you know me, Toshi-kun. I'm the laziest artist on DA! However! I have worked/am working very hard on a couple of new pieces for the booth. There will only be a few additions to what I had last year, but I am pleased to say that I will be doing special commissions throughout the con.
The special commissions consist of you or a character (reference may need to be provided if it's not something outrageously famous i.e. Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, pretty much any Weekly Jump character) with your choice of up to THREE Pokémon, and you or the character as a trainer. I will color the commissions, but they won't have a real background. Simple coloring at most. Tentatively, pricing for special commissions are as followed:
You and one Pokémon: $5
You and two Pokémans: $7
You and three Pokémans: $10
I'll also be taking regular commissions, but I'll have to figure out a price for them. The other items' price will also be listed later,as well as pictures of them, about a week before A-fest.
I don't know if I'm going to cosplay to A-fest this year. I accidentally left half of my Obahan Luffy costume in the hotel at A-kon in June, but the hotel never called me back after I told them :C
After I put pictures up with the merchandise, it will probably be a couple of weeks before I update again (not like I haven't updated in the last few months >>

due to adjusting to both school and work schedules. Sigh. Senior year...I think. I'll have to ask my adviser. I hope it is. I'm kinda tired of college-y things!
Other than that, summer has been filled with work. Minimum went up to 7.25, so take that pay freeze. I also got promoted, but I have yet had a new cute employee to train. It's like everyone doesn't want to apply now that I have the possibility to train them. I BET IT'S YOU, TOSHI-KUN. WHY DON'T YOU WANNA BE TRAINED BY ME, EH? YOU DON'T THINK I KNOW WHAT OUR MISSION STATEMENT IS? W-WELL YOU MAY BE RIGHT, BUT STILL.
And for those of you who have been patiently reading this (PROBABLY NOT YOU, TOSHI-KUN) have a meme! It gives some insight as to what I do when I'm not lazy and do artwork stuff!

◆ Which is easier to draw - male or female?
Male. I think it's that way for guys, and opposite for girls.
◆ Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Short. I think this has something to do with the whole guys draw guys better thing, but it also could be that I just never drew things with long hair.
◆ Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
I usually draw faces looking my left most of the time. Comes natural...I do like trying to draw them at different angels though.

◆ Any tips for coloring/shading?
Shading? I don't think I'm that good at it myself. Study other works with shading and practice. For color? Do what you think looks good. Spend time on making it the exact color you think it should be, and it should all fit together.
◆ How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
Anywhere from 2 to 25 hours
◆ What music do you listen to while you draw?
Actually, it's the same process over and over again if I'm at home. Alphabetical artist lists on the iPod. Some pretty embarrassing stuff is on my playlist, Toshi-kun! When I finish that, I have some pre-determined songs loaded on my computer, and then if I'm still working on the piece, I just put my player on shuffle and listen to what comes up. Mr. Raindrop first on the player before shuffle though. It gets me in a good mood.
◆ How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
They come up randomly when I'm not thinking about creating anything.
